Details that make a guard uniform work
Insignia and badges are produced in our own embroidery workshop, so your logo, lettering and colours are consistent on every garment.
- Duty shirts with epaulettes, pocket flaps and pen slots
- Shoulder, chest and sleeve badges embroidered with your insignia
- Rank or role distinctions through epaulette slides or colour details
- Breathable, colour-fast fabrics that keep a sharp look through repeated washing
- Hi-vis vests and jackets for traffic, parking and perimeter duties
- Caps, belts and outer layers for night shifts and cooler months
Licensing and uniform requirements
Security uniforms in the UAE may need to follow rules set by the authority that licenses your company or by the client whose site you guard, for example on colours, wording or badges. We produce to the specification you give us, and we recommend confirming any requirements with your licensing authority and your client before you sign off the sample.
Fabrics for outdoor posts
Guards on gates, car parks and perimeters spend hours in direct sun. We recommend lighter, breathable fabrics for summer duty shirts, in colours that resist fading, and warmer layers for night shifts and the cooler months. Trousers are cut with room to move and reinforced where belts and equipment cause wear.
Fabric choices and why
Darker colours show less wear but absorb more heat, so we discuss colour and fabric weight together for outdoor posts.
- Poly-cotton shirting for duty shirts: breathable, holds a pressed look and keeps its colour through frequent washing
- Poly-cotton twill for trousers: stronger at belt loops, pockets and knees, where equipment causes wear
- Ripstop weaves, if you want extra tear resistance for patrol trousers: a grid pattern that stops small tears spreading
- Fluorescent polyester with retroreflective tape for hi-vis vests and jackets
- Fleece or padded outer layers for night shifts and cooler months
Insignia and placement
- Company badge on the left or right sleeve
- Company name or logo on the chest
- Role wording, such as Security or Supervisor, on the chest or back
- Client or site patch on the opposite sleeve where contracts require it
- Epaulette slides for rank, and embroidered caps
Supplying guarding companies across many sites
Guarding companies often deploy officers to many client sites, sometimes with a site or client patch alongside their own insignia. We can produce site-specific badges, pack orders by site or by officer, and keep separate records for each contract. When a new contract starts, we produce matching uniforms from the approved designs on file.
Ordering step by step
- Share your insignia, headcount by role and site conditions
- We propose garments, fabrics and badge placement
- You receive a written quotation, confirming minimums and the delivery date
- We digitise your insignia and stitch a sample badge and uniform for approval
- Sizes are collected by name, through a measurement session or your size list
- Uniforms are produced, embroidered and quality checked
- Orders are packed by site or officer and delivered
Sizing, recruits and reorders
Duty shirts and trousers come in sizes from XS to 4XL. For large intakes we measure recruits on site or work from a size list, and record sizes against each officer's name. Trousers can be hemmed in our workshop.
Guarding companies recruit continuously, so keep a reserve of common sizes for new officers. When you win a new contract, we produce matching uniforms and any site patches from the approved designs on file.
Care and appearance
- Wash dark uniforms inside out at the temperature on the care label to slow fading
- Avoid bleach, which damages colour and embroidered badges
- Hi-vis garments lose brightness and reflectivity over time; follow the label and replace them when they fade
- Press badges from the reverse side
- Replace worn shirts before collars and cuffs fray, as appearance is part of the role
Security uniform checklist
- Roles, headcount and site conditions
- Insignia files and any client or site patches
- Requirements from your licensing authority or client
- Sets per officer, plus jackets and hi-vis
- Reserve sizes for recruits
- Packing by site or officer and delivery locations
